It would be extremely stupid for Apple to put in chips rated up to 1ghz in there and OC them to 1.25ghz. As the yields of the 1ghz G4 continue to rise (they should be since they've been pumping them out for 8 months), they're bound to get chips that pass at higher frequencies. Plus, the manufacturing techniques have probably improved so they get more and more fast chips.
So in conclusion, the dual-1.25ghz Macs will have G4s that are rated for 1.25ghz or higher.

Why doesn't Google just send a payment for every time a video is viewed? The artists would make a ton of money and the videos would get to stay. Pulling them down and giving people a reprimand is not the right way to go.

They both collect, advertizing revenue. They don't 'pay'.
Not in the business model, sorry. ;)

Hi, due to a recent user error I managed to import my whole hard drive into the folder structure in aperture 3. This left me with thousands of new folder entries. I've tried deleting them but doing it from the root of the directory seems to crash aperture. I've had to resort to drilling down into the directory and slowly deleting the folders one by one. At this rate I'll be done by Xmas.
I was thinking about exporting my good projects / folders to a new catalogue and then dumping the existing one. Is this possible?
Any suggestions as to how I might overcome this problem?
cheers!

They sucked then. They suck now. Nothings changed. What bugs me is the fact that they play this **** on a rock station here. Go figure. That crap isn't rock.

Hi,
I have a question about using iDVD in conjunction with final cut pro 2. I dont have DVD burning capability but I have a friend that has a superdrive and iDVD. I have a movie that I made in final cut that I would like to put on a DVD via iDVD. The question is (pretty basic) what should I save the file as to be able to use in iDVD. I would like the best quality that I can have. Thanks for any help you can offer.

So... your doing a review? If you are what is wrong with more than one review? Also, I didn't advertise anything. Oh, and I thought you ordered the Rebel, not the Torrent.
Si, and I don't mind you doing it. I just don't want this thread getting steered in a different direction just in case it is relevant and useful to someone else.

I have a iPod Touch, I believe it is a 3G. I have the App "Talking Tom" which is a cat who repeats whatever you say in a funny voice. The kids use it on their parents iPhone. I want to get a microphone to work with this App. I don't want the one with earplugs. It needs to talk out loud so others can hear it, it is hysterical. So what will work with it?
Thanks Guys, and Gals,

Hey,
Every few hours, or maybe once a day, my iPhone suddenly comes up with "Simcard is not installed". I am going to the genius bar today, but will they replace it? How can i prove it is a problem?

Hi,
I have been noticing considerable lag on my 2010 15" MBP (4GB ram) whilst using Photoshop Cs5.
I heard from my friend that if I were to use an external drive as a scratch disk, it would help.
I was wondering if this is true, and if so, what are the recommended external HDD?

It's the fabled iProduct! At long last!
http://makeuseof.com/tech-fun/images/iproduct-feel-special.jpg
that would be hilarious if:
1.) apple hadn't ALREADY changed the tech world so many times
a) apple I (first PC that changed the industry, and made every one follow in apple's footsteps)
b) macintosh (first PC with GUI that changed the industry, and made every one follow in apple's footsteps)
c) powerbook 100 (first modern portable computer)
d) iMac (first real pc to capture "trend" status)
e)apple quicktake (first truly consumer level digital camera)
f)apple newton (first truly consumer level PDA, and the godfather of all current smartphones, minus the phone, obviously.)
g)apple ipod (first digital music player that changed the industry, and made everyone follow in apple's footsteps)
h)apple iphone (first smartphone to incorporate a multi-touch screen and take full advantage of the phone as a mobile computing device)
i)apple ipad (first tablet PC that changed the industry, and made everyone follow in apple's footsteps)
I totally agree, outside of those areas, apple has made no significant impact on anyone's life. The question that you need to ask yourself is "How many products that apple has had very direct influence on do I use on a day to day basis?"
I'm assuming most, if not all of the previously mentioned products find their way into your life pretty regularly.
Thank you for actually changing the world...just like you said you would, apple.
