Apps all run in the same format and screen size. Even the new retina display is only an enlargement of the original format, but shown at the higher resolution. Apps running on the iPad run at the native format, or specifically for the iPad format, which is different code.
If Apple introduced a different sized screen, that would be a pain to the installed base and app developer. For this reason, I don't think it is true.
Is it not possible that perhaps you could have a smaller screen with a higher pixel density than the 3G and thus the same resolution in order to prevent this issue?

If you ask me, it's pretty clear Apple will update all of its laptops before the holiday season. I personally can't wait to buy a new MB, because my 600 MHz G3 iMac is getting a bit sluggish. My question is this: Will it be a simple CPU upgrade, or will Apple change pricing and/or other hardware (such as HD capacity, RAM, etc.)? Oh, and how long do I have to wait?
They're switching from ASUS to Foxconn so hopefully you'll get a Macbook that doesn't turn off Randomly in the middle of important work.

MS chose not to support calDEV, so no support for google calendars :(
MS Office is BUSINESS software, and Google calendars is not necessarily what I would call a widely accepted and adopted business solution. What the typical Office customer wants is Sharepoint and Exchange Server integration.
(Project and Visio ports would also be more than welcome. OmniGraffle Pro is nice, but most hardcore Visio users either don't find it suitable or just are not comfortable with its different user interface.)

It would be nice if Apple focused on getting airplay to work well within their own devices. I'm tired of dropping music from itunes or my iphone to my AE. It pisses me off because I purchased the AE with the sole intent of using it for airplay.

He's just speaking truth to power. It's a violent outburst caused by the man's oppression by the white majority. It's unfortunate that a woman was beat up, but we must consider the root cause - whites.
Seriously, I had to write papers on this crap. It's pretty awesome. I took it as a lesson on how you can win any argument by changing the rules.

I don't understand why it won't let you update, from the Help Menu > check for updates, in the app itself... why do i have to go to Microsofts website to get the update?

Something just hit me while doing my taxes, and getting drilled with self-employment tax.
Some of the major things many are talking about cutting are Medicare and Social Security. Self-Employment tax is in place to cover payments into each by self-employed individuals (or those like me who just happen to be paid 1099 for a portion of work). So, you make major cuts to those two programs, would they not also then cut the self-employment tax, thus reducing revenue? So wouldn't it all be a moot point? Or would we still be paying the same out of our checks and taxes towards the programs, just not getting as much out of them?

The line was pretty mad, but it seemed to move rather quickly once the doors were opened at 6pm. My hat is off to those who in the queue who had a word with the queue cutters as well as the Apple staff. (Dear queue cutters get with the program, or go back to your friends at Microsoft.)
I was amazed at the number of people in the queue that didn't buy Leopard. LOL... was the lame free t-shirt really worth your time in the queue?
I was a bit embarrassed by all the hot women who asked us what we were queuing up for. Oops, was I really standing in a queue for 2 hours on a Friday night. Hell ya! I saw the ladies later with a big box in my pocket.
