Hi Gurus - Can someone enlighten why lawyers reco. not to inform USCIS about AC21 and wait for RFE?
Also does anyone knows how one can get back on h1b after invoking AC21? If AOS is denied how to get h1b again? (if not exhausted 6 year of h1b)

I took a permanent job.
Some lawyers say you need to inform and some say why do you want them to know and create an RFE.
I never Informed USCIS of my change of employer.
It is not necessary to inform USCIS.
You do not know if the AC21 that you send will be attached to the file.
Some people sent AC21 and they got NOID
Why?
When you change Employers and the old employer withdraws your I-140 then
You get an RFE or you will be called for an Interview because they want to see you
where do you currently exist. Are you following all the rules set forth to get a GC?
Read through that website.
I finally got my GC with any RFE.

Yes i called the original civil surgeon and the tb test is going to cost $15 only and xray $40.
I found the reason i got the rfe.
I had a copy of the last tb test report.
That civil surgeon forgot to check mark the tb test !!!!
He checked a different section !!!
I feel bad that i missed to read it!
I could have rectified the darn doctor then and there.
It was during the july fiasco. We were all in a hurry and tensed up.

Once this rfe is cleared, i am going to sue that doctor for expenses!

Unfortunately, Canadian authorities don't take I-94 as it is nothing to do with them and don't pass it to US CBP.
Even if I come back - may walk to US border point to return I-94, the issue is not returning I-94 alone it is the date of leaving as there won't be any stamping or any record of leaving.

I think the only people who would oppose this are the ones who are not really contributing. I think it is quite appropriate to have that information. Beacause it will encourage people to contribute something like the domino effect.

- future VBs
- visa availability in the coming months
- awareness about visa wastage
- dates becoming current for most EB categories
- light at the end of tunnel for most of us
- USCIS efficiencies

Immigration and education should be two seperate things. NO support to categorize further on immigration, We should take out the country cap. It should be First come first serve basis. with necessary background checks on education and skills.

I really see useless threads a ton here, some of them are opened by these guys. They might be helping this organization by donating some money , that does not mean they can dictate terms. I will say these guys motives will not help any one.
I would consider this type of threads and discussions worth only if they are created by regular members.
I don't like someone create a new handle come here and post something without filling profile, start arguing with other members and run away when isolated.
The best way to deal with these guys are to avoid them.
