Newsflash: USA is a country (with a boundary). USA has a national anthem. They like to sing it, everywhere. If it makes them happy when I sing it, I will sing it too. It is like visiting someone's home and you are asked to take off your shoes at the entrance. Maybe you don't agree with it, but out of respect to the host it is a nice thing to do.
Relax and be more generous! I think you have more boundaries in you than this country has.
(If USA goes to war with my home country, I think they will trust me less if I come here and live and refuse to sing the national anthem...)

I searched for my LC case in one of the DBs in this website. I could not find it, though there were lots of other cases from my employer. I have the case number and approval notice so I am sure about genuinity of my case. Is this possible that some of the cases might go missing here ?

I am in 9th year extension with priority date 09/2002.
My I-140 denied on 06/18/08n and immediately I485 also denied.:mad:
I have Visa vailid till Jan09.
1.If I change employer and able to get labor cleared before jan09 , can I apply for I140 PP and get H1B exension.

I got my FP done on 11/21.I did open a SR on 10/05, based on which I got my FP notice on 11/06.

Receipting done by CSC on 09/05, EAD and AP sent by CSC

Its quite a gathering out here who have shown some interest or support for the Green card issue for the PhDs. I see numbers increasing slowly. I am networking and try to get more PhDs involved and become aware of the PACE Bill. Friends from many universities are contemplating the line of action to get a change in the language as well as to include the current PhD students/PhD holders in getting benefits from the bill.
I and my friends have drafted a letter and will be sending to our senator (Allen Specter) very soon. It will be great if many more enthusiasts come out and show their support / give their suggestions openly.
So lets keep it rolling.

Someone referred this creditunion in this post and when i checked the rates, they seem to be better than dcu.org.
When i checked the eligibility criteria to join penfed, its vague and it seems that if i join military officers assn of america for 13dollar annual membership(which i dont need to retain) , i can get their membership. Is this correct?
If i get membership with this moaa, would that hurt my greencard process as the greencard assumes no affiliation with any military associations etc... (i remember some questions like that). Can someone please advise ?
