I guess EB3 will finally cross 2001 barrier in the next bulletin.
For Eb2, it will be like the new EB3. Just too many cases were filed in EB2 after 2005.

What do you think we should expect from a president who is "socially conservative" and "fiscally liberal".
I expected Obama to be another FDR, but I now feel he is very far from being FDR.
FDR had 8 years & over 55 years after his presidency to make his impression today..... u r judging obama with his first 2 years of his presidency....... where is fairness here?
previous administration created this situation where the economic cycle had literally stopped..... people were not spending money, banks were not giving loan, companies were not expanding/hiring, companies were laying off causing unemployment..... in such times economy needs fusion of cash so that there is enough money in rotation for the economy to continue before customers return and the economic cycle is back on track...... bush (as seen in the video), McCain or any other person would have done the exact same thing becoz there is no other way...... the only other option of not doing anything would have ended up with the country in economic depression....... then u would have blame obama for creating economic depression......
lets talk @ "fiscally liberal"..... darling of the right wing, george bush.... started two wars..... spending over 2 trillion dollars, gave 1.4 trillion dollar tax-cuts to the top 1% who are rich..... this is around $3.5 trillion dollars of unpaid spending taking this country into massive national debt...... and now u r blaming obama for being "fiscally liberal".....
this world would stop if it were for the ideologues..... I am all for abonding H1B, when did IV promoted H1B program, we have this mess today due to H1B and itz loopholes,
I don't use word slave very lightly, but we need to accept the fact many of H1Bs are handcuffed with current system, We need system similar to Austrialia, Canada a point based system or very similar to Nurses in US they get GC before even coming to US.
H1Bs are truly pulling the wages down, I know I did when I came here I have no argument with anti-immigrants with this subject, but giving GCs to these H1Bs will have fair chance to compete in Market
Corporate leaders such Bill Gates and Senators such as Kennady do know this issue and have deep understanding but they don't give a rat about it,
Please do not say negative things against the H1B visa guys. Remember if it was not for the H1B, you guys would be in ur home countries right now. Let us all please stop abusing the VERY priviledge we have. H1Bs are FREE to change jobs at will. If you dont like your job CHANGE IT or GO BACK. Slaves cannot change jobs OR go back to their own countries. We cannot expect the system to start bowing to our wishes everytime we dont like what we currently have. No i am not an anti immigrant, Yes I am from India and stuck like the rest of you in retrogression. I belive your second point is not entirely accurate. My understanding is with the hard quota, any EB-1 and EB-2 unused visas from ROW will flow down to EB-3 ROW which is also severely retrogressed. Only when EB-3 ROW becomes current will the unused visas go to unskilled workers. Therefore, the hard quota will benefit ROW mainly at the expense of India/China EB-1 and 2.

1) With the soft quota, this leftover is given to the over subscribed countries in the SAME CATEGORY (Eb2). As a result, other EB2 candidates from India/China benefit
2) With the hard quota, this 10K now goes to UNSKILLED immigrants.
This amendment DOES NOT TAKE AWAY anything from the rest of the world at all! All it does is benefit SKILLED workers. Isn't IV about skilled workers? Why are some folks whose quota will NOT be CANNIBALIZED against this and consider this an issue of Indians/Chinese Vs Rest is beyond me. If you enter on AP, but have a valid H1 extension approval to xx date, and the xx date approaches and you are working for only the original H-1 employer maintaining ALL the conditions of H-1, you can request an extension of H1 status and if all is ok and it will be granted and you will get back on H1B non-immigrant status. But until such time, one is not considered in H1 non-immigrant status but "adjustee of status," which is NOT any non-immigrant status.

Also, what will happen when my Priority date becomes current? Will I be able to get a GC thru this I-485 since I have left the employer who filed my GC?

I think what is being conveyed is NOT that he is superior .... but that he has been in the US atleast 2 yrs more than when he actually started the journey towards GC by formally putting in an application

I am not sure what your point is. I am contributing monthly and I am not trying to judge anybody here. All I am trying to say is there needs to be alternate ways of reaching people unless all the 8400 registered people frequent the forums here. My brother is a US citizen who has filed an I-130 for me and my family in May, 2008. We've traveled to the US on B1/B2 visas in February, 2009. The thing about it is that in the DS-156 form point "36. Has Anyone Ever Filed an Immigrant Visa Petition on Your Behalf?" we've answered "No". I've had no idea at that time that it was referring to the petition for alien relative. Anyways, we've returned back home in time.
The question is: "Is this possible to prove that I did'n know about the petition?" And how do I prove that the wrong answer is not "willfull misrepresentation of material fact"?

I don't think they will accept matriculation certificate as primary evidence. Since the birth certificate is initial evidence, you should contact your lawyer ASAP.
